Calendar Journaling

It's spring school holidays in New Zealand and the weather is full of summer promise.
Here's how the first page  for this week started
Glued down some sheet music for a bit of background texture, then laid down watercolour paints, a serviette and some tape.
The second page had been a place to clean off stencils and stamps
What would you add to a page of stencils?...more stencils
I figured another filled with metallic pen would make a nice border!
This post is scheduled to be published while we are having a relaxing weekend in Napier. This time the spread doesn't hold a full week - I like the flexibility.
See my other calendar journaling pages in my Flickr set.

  1. Love the idea of a spread for the week, when I'm back at work there's not much time for more than a few lines so this idea should work well for me. :) I can create the background spread on the weekend and write for the week!
