Journal 52 : Week 14

Journal 52 is a weekly prompt from Effy Wild (Free HERE) that I'm creating on a deck of jumbo playing cards 3.5'' x 4.75'' (8.5 x 12 cm). Each card will include stitch, a found word, and be inspired by the project I've been working on that week or what's lying leftover on my work table. See the original post HERE.
#14 : Storm : The storm clears away everything but the absolute essentials. We are certainly in the middle of one right now. Thinking about resilience, weathering storms, and hope. Inspired by my recent work in my April journal to start with collage and to use a piece of music with appropriate markings : f = loud, cresc = increasing volume. Applied my acrylic paint with a piece of natural sponge and then it was time for stitched elements
