Calendar challenge : June/July

Only a day over my 1st July deadline :-)
My June birthday month held lots of promise - and exceeded expectations on the fun front :-)
This was how my calendar pages beganAnd this is the spread finished.I had such fun making an organza flower in the middle of the month, that I had thought I would make some more and add them to my pages. Unfortunately with my new job and other things happening at the end of the month, I ran out of time, and instead made some flowers with layers of cardstock and fabric secured with a brad. They did the trick, and I am very happy with my very flowery pages.
I was really keen on using stitch on my July pages. This is the base spread - I've machine stitched the pages to make the gaps for the calendar days, and the background is a lovely Starburst Spray : Hydrangea Blue. Not sure what else will happen here. I will probably use these letters somewhere on the page for the month, and I want to add some more stitch. Check back here next month to see how it turns out.
And if you want to see other calendar entries for this month go here to the Kathryn Wheel, or check out the Flickr group.
