Happy Easter

Hope you are having a lovely long weekend. Today we started with toasted hot cross buns for breakfast before the boys started on their chocolate eggs, then I made some Easter cookies : recipe here.
Especially enjoyed using my grandmother's piping set -1950s from the look of the box :-)
...although I think snipping the corner off a plastic bag may have been easier on the hands!
Had lunch with extended family at the Ashhurst Domain and a lovely bushwalk.
Daylight Savings finished for us in New Zealand this morning. It is officially Autumn but we are enjoying the lovely late Summer weather for as long as we can. Happy holiday.
