Stitched Paper Daily Art Journal : pages 18-19 and beyond

I added some paint to my daily pages this time around. I used a sheet of scrapbooking paper cut to my base page size, and then dabbed paint over a border stencil down one side
I used a foam leaf stamp dipped in paint down the other side
These were accented with stitch - in fact I added quite a bit of stitching to this page

I especially like the fancy leaf stitch around the photo of the bunch of flowers.
My next page was just paper, some washi tape and stitch
- love how the colours came together in this one. And that's the end of October. I've still been working in November, but thought I would share my thoughts about how long this journal will last....so far the pages look like this sitting in the cover
They are individual pages at present, so I will be backing them together and stitching them over a hinge for binding at the end of this project. So far there are 18 pages backed to make this stack. I would like to keep this project going until the end of the year. That means I have 9 weeks to complete which is about right for weekly spreads in November, and more detailed, if not daily, pages in December as I did in last year's December Daily. I even tried putting a book in the gap that is about the same thickness as the existing pages
Looks about right - and if I need to add a few more pages there's still space for that.
That means that on January 1st I can be looking at a new daily journal and planning ahead for that now has given me perspective on this project and helped me realise that I don't need to think about a separate Christmas journal this year.

In September when I was thinking about my new daily journal I considered using this large (page size 11 3/8 x 8 1/4 inches) sized Dyan Reaveley's Dylusions journal but decided that would be perfect for Life Book 2015.
I bought it with some Christmas money in December 2013 and it's been sitting in my cupboard waiting for the perfect occasion. However, on 1 November 2014, Art to the 5th announced The Documented Life Project for 2015, and their chosen journal is that Dylusions journal! So, I am committing to both projects for 2015, but need to rethink what I'm going to create on/in for Life Book....
The Documented Life Project prompts will inform my daily journal from 1st January 2015. Are you looking ahead to projects for next year? I think I need to look at what I want to complete in 2014....
